Being SOCIAL is a very important part of a child & adolescent’s development. It helps them to learn how to interact with others, communicate appropriately, learn socially acceptable behaviors, norms, and how to conform to society. By teaching children/adolescents appropriate social skills, you are building their confidence, assisting them in building relationships, and preparing them for higher education and the workforce.

Social Skills Groups will consist of 8-10 children or adolescents. There will be weekly topics addressing different Social Skills. Attendees will be taught with skills that they can practice outside of group therapy sessions. The LPC will use activities to keep the attendees engaged and to teach skills. (There will be separate groups for children, they will not be combined with the adolescents).

**COVID PRECAUTIONS INCLUDING SOCIAL DISTANCING, TEMPERATURE CHECKS, SANITIZATION, AND MASK WEARING ARE ESTABLISHED. **
